We offer state-of-the-art intra-oral scans with the iTero® Element 5D Scanner. With this technology, Dr. Weaver can create 3D images of your teeth in just a few minutes. This is a pleasant and precise alternative to the previous impression methods.
This scanner is used for all restoration impressions, such as crowns, bridges, and implant crowns, and for orthodontic treatments like Invisalign®. It is also used for creating digital plans for implant placement.
The KaVo OP 3D Pro CBCT is a 3D imaging machine. Dr. Weaver uses this technology to create a 3D rendering of your jaw in order to evaluate your oral health.
Additionally, this technology allows Dr. Weaver to create a digital treatment plan for dental implants and/or Invisalign®.
At our Grundy Center office, the MoonRay 3D printer allows Dr. Weaver to print in-office surgical guides for your precise implant placement, temporary crowns, and even dentures.
Dr. Weaver and our dental team prioritize your safety and well-being, which is why our Grundy Center dental practice uses digital X-rays for all procedures. Our digital X-rays reduce your radiation exposures by up to 80 percent, lowering the risk of complications. Furthermore, the images are of higher quality and instantly viewable on the screen.
Digital X-rays allow Dr. Weaver to show you your teeth and use this information to create your personalized treatment plan. To add more, it makes it easier to catch any dental issues allowing us to determine the best course of action to treat.
At Grundy Center Family & Implant Dentistry, Dr. Weaver takes very seriously the accurate and efficient placement of dental implants. To achieve this, he designs and 3D prints surgical guides. These help ensure that implants are placed with incredible precision and efficiency. A typical guided surgery results in an ideally-positioned implant placed in around ten minutes with very minimal invasion or discomfort.

I have always had great experiences with Grundy Center family & Implant Dentistry… They are very professional and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I have had a couple implants put in there, and I love them they fit in perfectly with my other teeth. You cant even tell a difference. SO I would highly recommend them to anyone. In fact I recently sent my son there for some denture work and he too was vey impressed! ( The occasional treats are nice too!) Great job guys, your Rocking this!
I felt very comfortable in the office and in the exam room. The staff were easy to relate to and converse with. Dr. Weaver is excellent as a dentist. He found a problem with a tooth that had gone undetected by a previous dentist. I would highly recommend Grundy Center Family Dentistry.
